The main purpose of the JPO Online Request System is to streamline the process of recruitment and placement of JPOs. UN Agencies can place their JPO requests for funding so that they are visible to partner countries. The JPO Service Centre immediately checks the contents of the Terms of Reference and if no clarification is required, the Terms of Reference will be made visible online. Terms of Reference can be completed and registered online.

Since all partner countries also have access to this system, they are able to view what JPO positions are available for funding.

All JPO requests that are more than two years old and have not been funded will have to be re-entered even though we may have received a hard or soft copy of the ToR early on. This is required in order to make sure that such old requests are still valid for the purpose of the new recruitment cycle.

Steps

  1. Connect to the Online Request System (please contact us if you need to register)
  2. Upload your Terms of Reference
  3. The JPOSC validates the Terms of Reference
  4. The Terms of Reference are published in our database and visible to partner countries. They can also be shared with relevant stakeholders.

TIP: If you just want to view or share all the UNDP TORs / Requests for JPOs from all offices or only the ones from your office (just select your Duty Station in the dropdown menu, locate your TOR, and then you can copy the URL and share it with your office), then you can always use the following link (no password required) to the public view of the JPO Request System for the following Agencies: UNDP, UNCDF and UNV.
