This section is dedicated to current Junior Professional Officers (JPO) and Special Assistants to the Resident Coordinator (SARC).

The UNDP JPO Service Centre (JPOSC) is an end-to-end service centre dedicated to the management and administration of the JPO Programmes of UNDP and several other UN Organizations.

Depending on the partner UN organization, the JPOSC manages the full cycle of the JPO assignment, including recruitment, appointment, assignment, learning, career development, and counselling as well as separation. Composed of 18 staff members, the JPO Service Centre aims at being a centre of excellence.

According to the 2013 JPO and SARC Satisfaction Survey, 85% would like to pursue a career with international development.more
